It was a good stay!
The room was of good size. They had beautiful views all around.
Breakfast was not that good. Travelling to the old city could be an issue.

LOVELY GETAWAY RESORT
- we had the upgraded Deluxe room. Everything in wonderful working order, lovely bathroom with the essential amenities including bathrobe and slippers. - Safe deposit box - Balcony with pool view. - Room/Bed/pillows very comfortable. - Great selection breakfast buffet both local delicacies and western style options. Only negative - pastries were all a bit dry and stale. - super accommodating staff - left something behind in the room and they managed to courier it right away - they have an adventure zone. It’s small but so fun with the archery, zip line and other activities. The staff were super friendly and helpful in guiding you. - fun cultural show I highly recommend it for a bit of a getaway as it is closer to the national park next to Udaipur.
- Maybe it was a language barrier, but they did have difficulty at times knowing what was what and where certain events were happening in their own hotel - Not so informative. I sent various Booking messages prior to our arrival not 1 time it was answered. Also when trying to get a cab to the monsoon palace which is something they are next to, they couldn’t just give us instructions to go the national park entrance (just 200 meters) where they arrange all of it. This is something they should be able to advise guests. - Waiters are very sweet but they lack training. People just come by and grab your chairs, cutlery whatever they please and the waiters and even the they picked stuff that we were about to use. It was a rude experience. Most guests had no manners but waiters also did nothing about it. - Kids run wild here, even though it’s up to the parents to control them, I think it’s also ok for staff members to kindly ask parents to tone down their kids a bit for the sanity of other guests. (Banging knives around tables and windows and shattering screams) not what you’d like to hear first thing in the morning. But these are minor issues that can be solved with more in depth training, otherwise the rooms were spacious and comfy and the facilities as well. I don’t try the spa, but they had a small menu and seems like an outside company/business.

Enjoyable stay with adventure activities and peaceful Location
The cottages were very nice and bathroom is spacious with excellent open to sky bubble bath. Very quick service and response time to any demands. Staff are very polite and helpful. Location of hotel is also very nice with monsoon palace entrance at walking distance Breakfast is very nice and there is high tea in evening which we loved. We enjoyed the folk dance show and adventure zone was the best part. We wished we would have stayed more than 2 days. They arranged birthday cake from their side at midnight for my sister and the cake was lovely
The cottages outside area is shared between 6 rooms which is little congested.
